Windows as a WIFI Hotspot

Guys we all have Internet connection in our home ,but we don't know how to connect our i-pod or any other device to the same wifi .So today i am going to lead you how to use windows as a wifi Hotspot and connect your device to it .It's because  we have a wired connection to the computer if you have a wifi then don't have to worry devices will connect automatically .this tutorial is only for the one who have wired connection. so Let's start.

Steps to do that ....

1.Go to Network and sharing option through control panel.

2.or you can quickly get to it by right-clicking on the network icon in the system tray. Once you are there, find the link for "Set up a new connection or network".

3.You'll be prompted with a wizard that allows you to connect to VPNs, dial-up, or create a new ad hoc wireless network, which is what we want to do. You can easily use an ad hoc network to share files back and forth between two computers, but today we'll be using it for sharing the internet connection.

4.You'll need to give your network a name and choose some security options—remember that WEP is extremely easy to crack—and you'll want to make sure to use at least a decent sized key even for WPA2. The really important option on this page is to remember to check the box for "Save this network".

5.Now all done , You can see that it's running perfectly on the right bottom side .

6.Now allow users or devices to connect to the network .Before that you have to do last thing turn on sharing .

7. To do so, you'll want to head into the Network and Sharing Center, click the "Change adapter settings" link on the left, and then find your network connection in the list—it's very important that you only enable internet connection sharing on the adapter that is actually connected to the internet. In this case, my internet access at work goes through my Local Area Connection, so I've enabled it there.

BBM on Android and iOS

Guys i have a awesome news for u Blackberry announces BBm for Android and Ios platform this summer. This being a biggest threat for whats'app,it's user will definitely move to BBm. This seems to be a biggest development in the field messaging.


Introduction to development

While details are scant at the moment, Blackberry just dropped a bomb at BBLive: Blackberry Messenger is coming to iOS and Android "this summer" as a standalone application. After years of rumors, the company is finally taking the plunge and making its most popular app multi-platform. Brilliant.

The app will start initially be released with support for "messaging and groups," though additional support for for "voice, screen share, and channels" will come later. It be compatible with Android 4.0+ devices and be available for free.

While this may be a big deal in itself, it may already be too late for Blackberry to resurrect its former BBM userbase – this is a move that could've helped save the company had it made the decision a year or two ago.

Today at BlackBerry Live, CEO Thorsten Heins announced BBM will soon be available on Android and iOS. The messaging app will launch globally this summer. This is a huge move for BlackBerry as it brings BB10′s strongest feature to literally hundreds of millions of potential users.

“BBM has always been one of the most engaging services for BlackBerry customers, enabling them to easily connect while maintaining a valued level of personal privacy. We’re excited to offer iOS and Android users the possibility to join the BBM community.”

“It is a state of confidence,” Heins explained. “The BB10 platform is so strong and the response has been so good that the time is right for BBM to become an independent mobile messaging platform.”

The app will be free on both Android and iOS. Much like other messaging apps, it will be a standalone application. iOS 6 or Ice Cream Sandwich will be required.

Initially, only messaging and group features will be available. But Heins promised that the rest of BBM will eventually make its way to the Android and iOS versions including screen sharing, BBM voice and the just-announced BBM channels.

We are making the BBM platform more powerful than ever”, Heins proudly stated. And with this very uncharacteristic move from BlackBerry, it’s hard to argue against his statement.

It’s clear BlackBerry is finally waking up. They are no longer the big dog in the mobile war. If they are to survive, the company needs to forge new relationships and learn to work well with the two reigning platforms. This move to put BBM on Android and iOS is a big step forward. BlackBerry might actually have a chance.
